The name itself carries a sacred meaning: "Shyam" represents the eternal grace of Shri Khatu Shyam Ji, the divine symbol of love, sacrifice, and faith; and "Vana" means forest — a place where life, purity, and love coexist in harmony.

Today, that vision spans two of India’s most soulful craft traditions — handcrafted sarees woven by artisans from tribal communities across India, and premium ceramics shaped by science, heritage, and artistry. Meet Our Founders

Roma Yadav 🌸 Founder & Creative Director “Shyamvana was born from my love for traditional Indian craftsmanship and the joy of bringing beauty into everyday life. Every piece we create tells a story of care, colour, and culture — handcrafted for those who appreciate authenticity.” A geographer by education and an entrepreneur by spirit, Roma’s vision is rooted in devotion and the belief that heritage, when worn with pride, becomes a living art form. Becoming a mother deepened her resolve to build something meaningful — a brand that reflects care, compassion, and authenticity. She leads Shyamvana’s creative direction, curation, and its deep connections with handloom weavers and tribal artisan communities across India.

Dr. Amit Kumar Yadav ⚙️ Co-Founder — Operations & Strategy M.Tech (Nano Science & Technology), Pondicherry University  |  Ph.D. Ceramic Engineering, NIT Rourkela  |  Post-Doctorate, IIT Guwahati “Building Shyamvana means building systems that honour the craft — from the artisan’s hands to the customer’s doorstep. Every process we design is a commitment to quality, trust, and growth.” Dr. Amit is a materials scientist and ceramic engineer with deep expertise in ceramic technologies, nano-science, and industrial scale-up — earned through years of research at NIT Rourkela and post-doctoral work at IIT Guwahati. He brings this rare scientific rigour to Shyamvana’s ceramics vertical, ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of quality, durability, and artistry. Beyond ceramics, Dr. Amit is actively expanding his knowledge in India’s textile heritage — immersing himself in the world of handcrafted sarees and the tribal weaving communities that keep these traditions alive. His cross-disciplinary approach — where material science meets cultural craft — is what gives Shyamvana its unique edge: products that are as technically excellent as they are soulful. He oversees operations, finance, strategic partnerships, and customer experience — ensuring the brand’s creative vision is matched by operational excellence and scalable systems.
